Documentation Office

„Living Memory“ is the overall focus of our project:

A portrait of modern migration displaying several life stories of both individuals and families, a picture that enriches our lives in Germany and also makes people sensitive to problems of developmental policies in the countries of origin.

Our research is based on interviews as well as footage material originated from the refuges themselves (photo, audio and video).

The recordings will be edited and presented on a publicly accessible streaming server online.

History is told by the survivors. According to the fate refugees have to meet we have to listen, collect and preserve for our children and later generations.

Whoever wants to share his or her own experience of their reasons and routes of flight, refuge and arrival in Germany should get in touch with our office and can meet us within our working hours.

For those who wish to remain anonymous we promise to make image and voice unrecognizable in any footage.
